Mark Delaney

Delaney made his debut for the Wales football team in the year 1999 and has become a permanent fixture in the Welsh squad since. He commenced his playing career with Camarthen Town, before moving on to play for Cardiff City. He moved to Aston Villa in 1999 and has now made over 200 appearances for the Midlands club. He is a tall and powerful defender.

Robert Earnshaw

Earnshaw has now made 29 caps playing for Wales and has already scored 12 goals for his country. He started his playing career with Cardiff City, making his debut in 1997. In the summer of 2004, Earnshaw moved on to play for West Brom, and he scored a famous hat trick after coming on as a substitute in a match against Charlton. During the 2004 – 2005 season, he scored many key goals for the club which ensured their survival in the top flight. He moved to Norwich City in January 2006 and instantly became prolific in front of goal.

Graham Kavanagh

Kavanagh started off his playing career at Middlesbrough before moving on to enjoy a five year spell playing for Stoke City, recording over 225 appearances for the club, starting form the year 1996. In the summer of 2001, the player moved to Cardiff City and would later on become the captain of the football team. He was well known at the club for his fine hart tackling abilities and was a crowd favorite with the Bluebirds. He moved to newly promoted premiership club, Wigan Athletic in the year 2005.

Peter Thorne

Thorne started off his professional football playing career at Wigan Athletic before making over 80 appearances for Swindon Town between 1995 and 1997. He moved to Stoke City in 1997 and enjoyed a fantastic four years period at the club. He became Cardiff City’s most expensive signing in 2001, moving to the club for £1.8 million. He moved to Norwich City FC in 2005 and is now a member of the first team at the club.
